'Ellie' Hemp/silk bridal skirt

The 'Ellie' Skirt

This long bridal skirt is handmade in beautiful Ivory hemp/silk satin.  It has a pleated front, with a dart at the back. The waistband closes at the back, with 3 loops and covered buttons. It is fully lined skirt with a small train, concealed zip in the back and pockets in the side. It feels fabulous to wear.

This skirt is individually made to order in sizes XXS - XXL, please refer to size chart above. It can also be made to custom sizes/lengths. For sizing advice or to submit your measurements please complete the contact form. 

The standard length for this skirt is 43" from waist to hem at the front. Please get in touch if you would like it made a little longer or shorter to suit your height.

It is currently available in off-white (Ivory) and natural (cream). The off-white works well with our 'off-white' lace, while the 'natural' matches the 'cream' lace.

Made from 70% organic hemp, 30% silk, lining - organic cotton
A bit about the fabrics... Hemp is often thought of as the most eco-friendly fabric there is. It doesn't need pesticides because it is unpalatable to insects, it doesn't need herbicides as it grows too quickly for any weed to compete and it actually put nitrates back into the soil. The hemp gives this fabric the weight and drape while the silk gives it shine and lustre. The hemp/silk is grown and produced in China.

This skirt is made to order, designed, cut and stitched in England. Please allow 4-6 weeks for making your skirt and depending on where you live 1 week for postage (1 - 2 days for UK).
