The 'Brooke' dress

This classic bridal dress is handmade in a beautiful ivory hemp/silk fabric, with a flattering 'V' neckline at the front and back. It has a sash which can be tied at the back or side. The skirt is full and drapey and falls into a small train at the back. It closes with a concealed zip and little covered buttons at the back. This simple yet versatile dress works really well with our lace tops, it's shown with the 'Fleur' top in the photos.

Made from 70% organic hemp, 30% silk, lined with organic cotton.

A bit about the fabrics... Hemp is often thought of as the most eco-friendly fabric there is. It doesn't need pesticides because it is unpalatable to insects, it doesn't need herbicides as it grows too quickly for any weed to compete and it actually put nitrates back into the soil. The hemp gives this fabric the weight and drape while the silk gives it shine and lustre. The hemp/silk is grown and produced in China.

This dress is made to order, designed, cut and stitched in England. Please allow 6-8 weeks for making your dress and depending on where you live 1 week for postage (1 - 2 days for UK).
