'Tamar' hemp silk bridal skirt with train

The 'Tamar' Skirt

This limited edition long bridal skirt is handmade in a beautiful light blue hemp/silk satin. It has a full, flowing skirt with a train at the back. The waistband closes at the back, with 3 loops and covered buttons. It feels fabulous to wear. It's limited edition because I only have a limited amount of the hemp/silk in this beautiful blue colour.

This skirt is individually made to order in sizes XXS - XXL, please refer to size chart above. It can also be made to custom sizes/lengths. For sizing advice or to submit your measurements please complete the contact form. 

The standard length for this skirt is 44" from waist to hem at the front.

Made from 70% organic hemp, 30% silk, lining - organic cotton
A bit about the fabrics... Hemp is often thought of as the most eco-friendly fabric there is. It doesn't need pesticides because it is unpalatable to insects, it doesn't need herbicides as it grows too quickly for any weed to compete and it actually put nitrates back into the soil. The hemp gives this fabric the weight and drape while the silk gives it shine and lustre. The hemp/silk is grown and produced in China.

This skirt is made to order, designed, cut and stitched in England. Please allow 4-6 weeks for making your skirt and depending on where you live 1 week for postage (1 - 2 days for UK).
